With the success my Nova had brought my speed shop in the early eighties, I decided to build another Pro-Street car. First, I looked at the areas that defined a Pro-Streeter – areas like the engine, the transmission, the huge rear tires, the narrowed rear axles, the stance, the interior and the paint. Next, I determined that I would take all of these areas to an extreme. Finally, I decided to stuff all this technology into the smallest narrowest car I could find to get the greatest effect. I’ve always felt that if a little’s good, and a lot’s better, then too much is just right. This philosophy was also carried over to the 14 color graphics applied by Chip Whittington.
